  • Provisions in the Companies Act relating to disposal of property and assets, loans to directors, financial assistance for acquisition of shares, reduction of share capital, acquisitions and disposal of shares in private companies;

  • Drafting of agreements for joint ventures, sale of shares, franchising, distribution and commercial contracts.

Criminal Law

Handled cases involving offences under the Penal Code, corporate or commercial crimes, drug offences, offences under the Road Traffic Act, the Miscellaneous Offences Act, the Copyright Act, the Trademarks Act and clients prosecuting private summonses.

Employment Law

Drafting and vetting of employment contracts; Advising employers and employees on employment legislation and employment issues such as retrenchment benefits, unfair dismissal, restraint of trade and restrictive covenants in employment contracts.

Family Law

Advising clients on matters relating to divorce, separation, division of matrimonial assets, child custody issues, adoption and spousal maintenance rights.

Probate and Administration of Estates

Advising clients on matters relating to probate, and letters of administration; Drafting of wills; Estate and legacy planning; Assisting in matters relating to the Lasting Power of Attorney; Drafting Powers of Attorney and documents such as Deed of Family Arrangement; Assisting in matters relating to the Mental Capacity Act.

Real Estate and Conveyancing

Advising clients in the sale and purchase of commercial, industrial and residential properties; Advising buyers, sellers and banks/finance companies on sale and purchase, financing and refinancing of HDB flats; Advising landlords and tenants on leases of commercial, industrial and residential buildings and units.
