The Firm has a team of 4 lawyers and 2 consultants.

Most of the directors and consultants have more than 20 years of legal experience.

All our lawyers practice in more than one area of law and possess extensive experience, integrity and competence.

Lawrence Chua Tong Yong

Managing Director

Qualifications:

  • F.T.C. (CGLI), T.ENG (CEI) M.I.E. (London), Barrister-at-Law (Lincoln's Inn).

  • Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore in August 1977.

Areas of Practice:

  • Extensive experience in civil litigation, solicitors' work, real estate and conveyancing. His solicitors' work would include advising on employment law, wills and Estate matters.

  • In particular, he has advised many clients who are entrepeneurs and individuals looking to form their own start-up companies in matters relating to incorporation of companies, drafting and execution of shareholders' agreements, joint venture agreements, sale and purchase agreements and the like. Being a businessman himself in having to run and manage the law firm all these years, he melds good commercial sense, practicality and legal expertise in his advice to such clients.

  • Lawrence Chua is a Notary Public.

Edwin Chua Tong Nung

Director

Qualifications:

  • LLB (Hons)(National University of Singapore).

  • Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore on 22 March 1989.

Areas of Practice:

  • Extensive experience in Civil and Criminal Litigation, especially in large personal injury claims, solicitors' work and conveyancing. His solicitors' work would include advising on wills, Estate and mental capacity matters.

  • Edwin Chua joined the firm as a pupil in 1988. He has been with the Firm since his admission to the Singapore Bar in 1989, as a legal assistant and as a partner since 1 February 1993. He became a Director when the Firm converted to become a Limited Liability Company.

Roger Yek Nai Hui

Director

Qualifications:

  • BBA (Simon Fraser University), LLB (Hons) (Hull), Barrister-at-law (Middle Temple).

  • Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore in May 1995.

Areas of Practice:

  • Extensive experience in Criminal Litigation and specialises in Civil Litigation with a focus on insurance claims, Family Law, Conveyancing and general solicitors' work. He has advised and conducted many matters related to wills, Estate, Adoption and Mental Capacity matters.

  • Roger Yek did his pupilage at Messrs Abraham Low & Partners and upon being called to the Singapore Bar, he joined Messrs Tan Kim Seng & Partners as legal assistant. He joined the Firm in May 1997 and was admitted as a Partner on 1 January 2001. He became a Director when the Firm converted to a Limited Liability Company.

Chua Lynn Ern

Director

Qualifications:

  • LLB (Hons)(University of Nottingham, United Kingdom).

  • Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor to the Singapore Bar on 28 July 2012.

Areas of Practice:

  • Extensive experience in Civil Litigation with a focus on insurance claims, Family Law, Conveyancing and general solicitors' work. She has advised on numerous matters relating to matrimonial proceedings, wills, Estate, mental capacity matters, as well as drafting of contracts relating to employment, sale and purchase of various types of company assets and shareholders' rights.

  • Chua Lynn Ern acquired relevant legal experience with the Firm before joining as a practice trainee in December 2011. She has been with the Firm since her admission to the Singapore Bar in 2012.

Thomas Lei Chee Kong

Consultant

Qualifications:

  • LLB (Hons)(National University of Singapore).

  • Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore on 22 March 1989.

Areas of Practice:

  • Specialises in commercial civil litigation. He also does criminal litigation, matrimonial, intellectual property, conveyancing-related litigation and general solicitors' work.

  • Thomas Lei practiced as legal assistant and later as a partner at Messrs Chor Pee & Co, later renamed as Chor Pee & Partners for 12 years, then as partner at Messrs Engelin Teh & Partners in 2000, before joining the Firm as a Partner on 14 May 2001. Since 2019, he has been a Consultant with the Firm.

Sally Chew Gek Tee

Consultant

Qualifications:

  • LLB (Hons)(Singapore).

  • Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore on 17 March 1979.

Areas of Practice:

  • Specialises in litigation involving large personal injury claims, representing both individuals and corporate insurance clients, insurance law and real estate and conveyancing.

  • Sally Chew started practice with Messrs Leong & Gay on 18 March 1979. She left Messrs Leong & Gay on 15 September 1987 and joined the Firm on 16 September 1987, Since 1994, she has been a Consultant at the Firm.

  • Sally Chew is both a Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths.
